Mosaica Education, founded January 1997, has received excellent commendations and is recommended for a five-year corporate re-accreditation from AdvancED, the world’s largest independent accreditation commission.

AdvancED’s district-wide re-accreditation will apply to all future charter schools operated by Mosaica, within the five-year period. This means new charters, will not be required to go through an accreditation process.

Released in March of 2011, the approximately 80 minute multiplication DVD was evaluated by a KIDS FIRST! community based jury consisting of child development professionals and teachers as well as parents and children from diverse geographic, socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds before being selected for its double star endorsement. The Steps4Kids to Multiply DVD teaches children their basic multiplication properties and helps them memorize their multiplication table using numbers zero through 12.

Popular kids’ bookstore app TouchyBooks has combined its efforts with the UNICEF office in Spain to create “Momotaro,” the first UNICEF interactive children’s book app for the iPhone and iPad in order to teach kids about the importance of helping those in need and of being resolute in the face of challenges - all while raising money and awareness for UNICEF’s work in Japan. All of TouchyBook’s profits from the sale of the eBook will be donated to fund UNICEF’s disaster relief efforts for children in Japan.
